Ever wanted to know what it's like working on the floor of one of the emergency departments at CJW Medical Center in Richmond, Virginia?
We recently sat down with the nursing directors of the emergency departments at CJW's two campuses, Karen Shipman of the Johnston-Willis campus and Catherine Tapp of the Chippenham campus, and they talked a little about being a nurse on their units.
According to them, some of the greatest aspects of working in either CJW ED are the tremendous amount of support they receive from their administrators, the cohesive working relationships they have with the physicians, and the dedication to quality care they see in their often hectic workplaces every day.
